A WORD FROM THE ARTIST
While at THEOFORMA, I was working on two types of accessories. The first one was a tote bag with interchangeable pocket size and placement by means of snap fasteners placed in a 6 x 6 grid. Three prototypes were brought into fruition. All varying by the side of where the snaps were placed. One on the outside, another on the inside, and finally a third one that was reversible. The concept came about when the idea of a tote bag having pockets you could switch out.
Second one was a one size fits all utility vest where the three panels that it consists of are bags with varying closures. This concept originally was of a one size fits all jump suit that can be adjusted from the smallest size to the biggest size. I found the idea of “one size fits all” to be incredibly fascinating. Giving people of different body types the same option and having everyone give the one option a different look.
RE-DESIGNING OF TOTE BAGS TO BECOME MORE ACCESSORY FRIENDLY.
